Papa Smurf re-imagined

This is the first fully finished Smurf charecter I've drawn in a series of Smurfs I plan to do.

As a child I watched the Smurfs a great deal and it wasn't until recently I decided to redraw them.. I haven't just changed the charecter's look in my series so far. I have changed their over all scale, their clothing, their anotomy, and my favorite so far... their houses. I kept the mushroom look but gave them a more "realistic looking" mushroom smurf house. If I get some good feed back I'll be posting more of them later on.

For fans of the Smurfs; I aim to include as many of the charecters in my future work as I can with the exception of Sassette, Pappy, Nanny, and the baby smurf. My next charecter will be Smurfette. Though she is not one of the original charecters I have to draw her because my sister asked me to. After her I plan for Brainy next.
